Sheehan, Nellie, & Henry | Family Shoot

Late last summer, and on one of my last days in California, my sister in law, her two kids, and I packed up a picnic basket to bring down to the beach and celebrate golden hour in the golden state (have you ever seen the sunset over San Diego?!). It was the perfect sendoff from the perfect month in Coronado (a month spent playing at the beach, selling lemonade on the sidewalk, watching the polar bears at the San Diego zoo, going to story hour at the library, playing “you can’t catch me” at the park, biking around looking for the neighbor’s cat, reading book after book, discussing mermaids and trucks, having dance parties in the kitchen, and goodnight cuddles) These photos are some of my favorites from our beach picnic date, but also in general.
